Professor Kurylo earned a Master’s degree in Speech & Interpersonal Communication at New York University and a Ph.D. in Communication at Rutgers University. Prior to joining Marymount Manhattan College, she taught at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York University, Pace University, Rutgers University, and St. John’s University. Her two areas of scholarship include analysis of stereotype use in interpersonal, intercultural, and organizational contexts and examination of pedagogy and mentorship.
